Gyravant is a 9' sculpture that will enliven the corner at the new Facebook headquarters in Bellevue’s Spring District. The sculpture was laser cut from ¼” steel, rolled, welded and powder coated. As the viewer moves around the sculpture, a mesmerizing moiré action appears. Designed to spark curiosity and engage viewers, the piece presents an opportunity for a shared public experience.
The shadow of Gyravant offers another layer of interest. Its geometry produces one of natures favorite shapes, the golden spiral.
